On the morning of July 7, the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Long March painting and calligraphy exhibition “Experience the Long March - Tour on the Chinese Mother Road”activities were grandly held in the Landscape Ink Painting International Art Center on the International Riverside Avenue of Beijing. The activities were jointly held by students recreational center of China National Academy of painting, American Philatelic Group China Arts Fund, United Nations World Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Foundation, ICN TV Network, Chinese International Philatelic Information Network, Chinese Ink Painting Research Institute, and co-organized by Beijing Youth Daily and China International Tourism Network. Former President of the China Federation of Returned Overseas Zhuang Yanlin, Former Editor of CPC Qiushi Red Flag Publishing House Fu Guorui, Honorary Director of China Committee of UNESCO Education for Sustainable Development Dr. Shi Gendong, assistant to the chairman and member of the Party Group of Beijing Federation of Returned Overseas Li Hongjun, vice president of American Philatelic Group Wu Yiping, director of American Philatelic Group China Foundation Cui Enqing, executive director of American Philatelic Group China Foundation Li Jiantong and Fu Dandan, deputy director of ICN TV Network Zhang Lu, Chinese director of American Philatelic Group Yang Bao, well-known painters Cui Xugeng, Chen Junfeng, Liu Ningsheng, Xiao Bo, Song Jule, Huang Heping, Hu Guoding, Yuan Kuangren, etc. And nearly a hundred people of cultural and arts community nationwide attended the opening ceremony.

This year is the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Long March. "Time Magazine" has selected the impact of human civilization and social development process 100 things, the Long March is one of them. Those campaign signs left in the long and arduous journey had faded in the years, but the winding road of long march is still attracting eyes of many in the world. As the famous American writer Salisbury said in the book named “Long March - Unheard stories” that, “Read the story of the Long March will make people realize once again that once the human spirit aroused, its power is inexhaustible.” Long March is the great miracle of human history and the Central Red Army conducted a total of more than 380 battles, occupied more than seven hundred counties, sacrificed more than 430 cadres above battalion level with an average age of less than 30 years, defeated Kuomintang army of hundreds of corps, during which crossed a total of 11 provinces, 18 mountains and 24 rivers, walked over grassland and snowy mountains, traveled about 25,000 miles, then arrived in northern Shaanxi and victory reunion with the Northern Shaanxi Red Army in October 1935. October 1936, the Second and Fourth Red Army arrives Huining, Gansu and joined forces with the First Front Red Army. The three main Red Army joined forces, marking the successful conclusion of Long March.

Long March of China is a twenty-five thousand miles step out of two feet. It opened up a road to power of founded, forward and rising of PRC. It is the veritable Chinese mother road.
Today, though the history has passed away, but those red years and great heroic feat are still indelible permanent memories of the Chinese nation. We cherish the memory of history for cherish more peace and create the future. Contemporary painting and calligraphy masters across the country including Cui Xugeng, Chen Junfeng, Liu Ningsheng, Xiao Bo, Song Jule, Huang Heping, Hu Guoding, Yuan Kuangren, etc. were invited to well crafted more than forty pieces of works for the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the victory of Long March activities. They use ink to ignite feelings and ambitions, soothe the moment and recall the past, the true affections are unforgettable.

US time on March 8, 2016, ICN “Experience the Long March - Tour on the Chinese Mother Road” activities launching ceremony was held at the Hilton Hotel in San Gabriel, Los Angeles. Jointly hosted by famous talk show host in North America Raymond Tsway and ICN rising star Lancy. Many leaders of the overseas in Los Angeles, Presidents of Chamber of Commerce of Chinese Provinces, Hollywood Movie/ TV/ Music stars and artists, etc. were presented to help.
Part of the photos of “Experience the Long March - Tour on the Chinese Mother Road” activities (Fig. 14) Chinese and American movies and arts celebrities will be invited to attend the “Experience the Long March - Tour on the Chinese Mother Road ” activities and re-take the Long March to experience local customs, cultures and histories, understand the beauty and charm of the Chinese Mother Road and deeply perceive the revolutionary heroism and optimism of tough lives, bull by the horns and brave and tenacious in Long March.
Long March spirit is not only the precious spiritual wealth of Chinese people, but also common spiritual wealth of all humanity. |
