    To celebrate the 36th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between US and PRC, fully implement the spirit of the 6th round of Sino-US Culture Exchange and Consultation Meeting, better welcome China President Xi Jinping to visit United States in September, push forward the cultural exchanges between the two countries, promote the world’s knowledge and understanding of Chinese culture and art, support and help more Chinese artists popular in the world, American Philatelic Group INC and relevant US Postal agencies organized the “Sino-US Sino-US Cultural Exchanges Ambassador – Sino-US Outstanding Chinese Stamp Artist Character” with the support of the relevant departments of the US and China. 
    According to the selection of APGI artists vetting committee experts, you have been elected to the “2015 Annual Sino-US Outstanding Chinese Artists”. Pre-selection list will be publicized through the media, if determined no objection, APGI will award the honor certificate to selected “Sino-US Outstanding Chinese Artists” and publish a set of artwork themed American stamps for the selected Chinese artists(the specific publish details are in attachment). APGI will preliminarily name the “Sino-US most valuable Chinese artists top 100” and “Sino-US world’s most influential Chinese artists top 100”according to the media publicity of “Sino-US Cultural Exchanges Ambassador” and the voting results of artists. The 36 named “Outstanding Chinese Artists” will be elected to “Sino-US Cultural Exchanges Ambassador”, invited to attend the Sino-US cultural exchange ceremony and awarded honor certificate and bonus fund. APGI Sino-US Cultural Exchange Fund will give a $1-10 fund to the outstanding contributed artists.

Chinese culture is profound and has a long history, while American culture is vibrant, pluralistic and diverse. Sino-US cultural exchanges between the two world powers made the two cultures learn from each other. President Xi Jinping has made a message to the youth of the two countries, “Culture is a link between the human mind and a bridge to promote the understanding and friendship among people of the world. Culture exchange plays an important part in narrowing the distance between the people of two countries. Culture has became an important force in pushing a healthy and stable developing relationship between China and America.” With the expansion of Sino-US cultural exchanges in depth, Chinese culture is being understood, received and loved by more and more American people.

    Therefore, the successfully held of “Sino-US Cultural Exchanges Ambassador – Sino-US Outstanding Chinese Stamp Artist Character election activities” will greatly promote the exchange and cooperation of culture and art between China and America, and also provide a new channel for the world to know Chinese culture and art.
